Our
Story
EyecareConnect was founded by two local optometrists with a simple goal: to make high-quality eye care accessible to everyone—regardless of age, mobility, or circumstances.
With a strong background in low vision care, we’ve witnessed how critical vision is to maintaining independence and quality of life. Yet many individuals, from elderly residents in aged care to busy families and workers, face barriers in accessing timely eye health services. Whether it's due to limited mobility, lack of transport, or simply the demands of daily life, too often essential care is delayed or missed altogether.
Our mobile model was created to meet people where they are—at home, in aged care, at school, or in the workplace. While several other states across Australia have active school screening programs, Adelaide currently does not, leaving many children without early detection and intervention. We believe this is a gap that needs to be addressed.
At EyecareConnect, we are passionate about delivering comprehensive, compassionate, and convenient eye care. We believe the gift of sight should never be limited by access—and we're here to ensure that it isn't.
